The Family Dance - Welcome!
Hello, friends.
Over the past 25 years, I have worked with families that have members with addiction, mental health issues, and trauma. These issues, and sometimes just life, have caused the members to separate from one another. In this separation, they do not see a clear path back to their family members. In fact, often they do not believe there is a path back. In my experience 90% of the time there is. However, it can require information, some self-examination, and work. I have crafted a family intensive, usually lasting 2 1/2 days, which is a family reconciliation process. As I have started semi-retirement, I wanted to pass on what I have learned, suggestions, information, and guidance. I am not charging for this information. For anyone wanting to ask a private question, my email is listed. I’m also listing a section where anyone can ask a question. It can be labeled as private for a private response, or public which can be put on the blog with only initials as others may have the same question.
I call this rich, rewarding process, The Family Dance. It is like a waltz sometimes, a square dance sometimes, or a tango. Coming together, defining our rhythms together, learning our steps together. I hope you enjoy this and welcome!
